Who we are

Who is Joneng?

Joneng is a sanitary valve manufacturer, not a trading company. We make sanitary stainless steel valves, pumps, fittings and accessories for process lines in dairy, brewing, beverage, food, pharmaceutical, chemical and water treatment plants, and we make them to SMS, DIN, BS, AS, BPE, JIS, ISO, ANSI B16.5 and ASME standards.

We keep stock of the parts buyers reorder most — fittings, unions, ferrules and butterfly valves — so a standard order does not wait for a production run. Material is checked on our own spectrometers before it is machined, and every valve is pressure tested before it ships.

The rule the company was started on still holds: what we say, we do; and what we do, we say.

How did Joneng get here?

A 15 m² workshop and two hand lathes, then the first CNC machines, the first spectrometer in 2012 and ISO 9001 in 2016. Today: 45 CNC machines and 3 pressure-test centres.

  1. Started as a family workshop of about 15 m² in the Sanjia industrial area of Wenzhou.

  2. Bought the first two hand lathes and solved the threading problems that had been holding production back.

  3. Bought the first CNC machines and began making butterfly valves and check valves.

  4. Started making pipe fittings, with three presses bought for the work.

  5. Renamed the company and was granted an export licence.

  6. Bought the first PMI spectrometer, to test the alloy of incoming material ourselves.

  7. Set up an R&D office for ball valves and diaphragm valves.

  8. Certified to ISO 9001.

  9. Applied for national innovation patents.

  10. Opened an office in Iran.

  11. Opened an office in the Middle East.

  12. Developed an intelligent control top for flow diversion valves.

  13. Opened a marketing office in Brazil.

  14. Today

    45 CNC machines, 3 spectrometers and 3 pressure-test centres, in three manufacturing bases in Wenzhou.

Before anything is machined

What material do we start from?

Any sanitary valve manufacturer can buy AISI 304 and AISI 316L; what matters is whether anyone checks it afterwards. Ours arrives as plate, tube, coil and semi-finished blanks, with its mill certificate, and is read again on 3 of our own spectrometers before it is machined. An EN 10204 3.1 certificate ships with the order.

Where is Joneng’s factory?
In Longwan district, Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, China. Machining, assembly and testing all happen in our own three manufacturing bases there — Jiayuan, Lingdong and Ezo.
How long has Joneng been manufacturing?
Since July 2007. The company started that year in a small workshop in Wenzhou, bought its first CNC machines in 2009 and its first spectrometer in 2012, and has been certified to ISO 9001 since 2016.
Does Joneng hold 3-A or EHEDG certification?
No. Joneng holds CE, PED and ISO 9001 certification and supplies FDA-compliant materials. 3-A and EHEDG are not currently held.
