When the diaphragm moves outward, the pump chamber volume increases, allowing liquid to enter the pump body through the suction inlet; when the diaphragm moves inward, the liquid is forced out of the pump outlet. A one-way valve within the pump body controls the liquid flow direction, ensuring the medium flows only in the designated direction and preventing backflow. The diaphragm completely isolates the medium from the drive components, preventing contamination and leakage.
