When high-temperature steam or superheated water enters, the increased flow velocity creates a higher pressure above the valve plate, and the rising temperature causes flash evaporation of the medium, pushing the valve plate tightly against the valve seat and closing it. As the steam condenses and the pressure drops, the valve reopens to drain water. This cyclical action achieves efficient drainage and prevents steam loss, making it suitable for testing and operating systems under high-temperature and superheated conditions.
